National Honor Society
National Honor Society (NHS) membership has been the mark of student achievement for over 100 years. By empowering and recognizing well-rounded students, NHS provides a values-based framework to elevate a culture of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
FFA
FFA is a youth organization that helps to prepare members for careers in the science, business and technology of agriculture. Bridgeport has very active FFA program attending many regional and national events.
TeamMates
The TeamMates Mentoring Program is a school-based one-to-one mentoring program that began in 1991. Tom and Nancy Osborne founded the TeamMates Mentoring Program in an effort to provide support and encouragement to school aged youth. BHS has a very large and active mentoring program.
