The Arts Programs

Our comprehensive fine arts programs ignite creativity, offering students a canvas to explore their passions. From visual arts that capture imagination to theatrical performances that inspire, we empower students to express themselves authentically. Our dedicated instructors nurture talent, cultivating skills that extend beyond the stage and studio.

Vocal Music

Our vibrant vocal music program empowers students to find their voices, fostering a lifelong appreciation for music. The vocal music program consistently receives top rankings and awards in regional competitions.

Band

Experience the rhythm of excellence with the Bridgeport Public Schools Band Program. At Bridgeport Schools students can participate in concert band, pep band and the drum line. The band consistently receives Superior ratings and multiple music competitions around the state.

Art + Art Club

Our diverse art curriculum offers a vibrant palette of opportunities for students to explore their creativity. From painting to sculpture, students are exposed to a variety of techniques and mediums through hands on projects. Each year a select group of students has their artwork featured in the Western Nebraska Art Show. Members of the Art Club have opportunity to visit the Denver Art Museum each year.

Speech

The Bridgeport High School Speech program has become one of the most competitive programs in the region with multiple conference and district championships. Each year the speech teams qualifies multiple competitors for the State meet.

One Acts

The One Acts program at Bridgeport Public Schools is competitive in both the Western Trails Confernce and the South Platte Valley Conference. Each year they are competitve within the district with a State qualifying team in 2022.

Spring Play

Our annual theatrical production is a celebration of creativity, teamwork, and artistic expression. Participants develop acting skills, confidence, and a deep appreciation for the performing arts.
