It is about 35 miles east of Scottsbluff, 35 miles south of Alliance and 40 miles north of Sidney. Bridgeport is also within driving distance of Denver, CO (3-hour drive) and Rapid City, SD (3-hour drive). Bridgeport competes in C1/C2 activities and has a brand new elementary school, auditorium and gymnasium. Bridgeport has a public swimming pool, golf course, and other nearby outdoor recreational opportunities such as hunting and fishing.
